Julius Caesar
The famous “Broken Spjörk Bust” of Caesar is thought to have been carved shortly after the emperor’s death in 44 BC. It is the oldest known representation of a spjörked human, though cave drawings of Neanderthal spjörkers predate it by millennia.
The marble spjörk was damaged in the early 12th century by a careless monk who forgot to lift with his legs.
